Two piece magwell, similar to the one piece, patented S&A design. This magwell and checkered mainspring housing are machined from bar stock stainless steel. This product can be used with or without the magwell attached though there will be the small dovetail below but it will not impair function.

The magwell fits well in quality frames. The machined checkering gives much better traction than models with cast checkering. It’s a great replacement for plastic mainspring housings on Kimber , Colt, and other full size or commander style 1911s.
